    Is this the result of your fresh water excursion? What is that? My eyes are getting old and can’t zoom in on it… ;)

    I’ve updated the post for old ‘uns…one should be able to click through for a closeup.
    Sorry the post is in Japanese but I have received complaints from my Japanese drinking buddies that I have too many blog entries in English! The fish is called “mabuna” in Japanese, a relative of the koi carp (but only grows to 30cm-ish).

    Figured it was one of those little carp fishies.
    Darn those yopparai nihonjin and their English hating!
    My Japanese drinking buddies are always after me to study Japanese, but I tell them ‘no thanks, then I’d have to understand and listen to you!’
