What part of Thailand was this? I’ve been there many times… but, have yet to go fishing in freshwater.
Well, not if you don’t count fishing for freshwater prawns 😉
Hi Reid, this is Bungsamran Fishing Park in Bangkok, a stocked lake. About 30 minutes from Sukhumvit by taxi. You can read more about it here:
Cheers, Adam
I don’t know how I missed that blog post. That sounds like a really great time fishing…. and, so close to Bangkok. I’ve looked into places like this in the past… but, they were either in Phuket or Pattaya.
Your post is rather cryptic. Who are you saying “so long and thanks” to? An old fishing buddy? The readers of your blog?
Hi Reid, Sorry to sound all Borat on you, but yes, the chap on the left in the photo is my good friend and fishing buddy Tommy, who passed away last month. Adam
Oh man, I’m so sorry to hear that Adam. RIP Tommy.
